It?s election time! Not the election you may be thinking of though. The Kentuckiana Rainbow Chamber of Commerce will hold its election board members at the next meeting on October 3, 2007 at Sweet Peas on Frankfort Ave. The Board of Directors will consist of (nine) members. From the newly elected board the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer will be chosen. The board members will direct the organization?s activities in a manner consistent with helping to grow both the organization as well as your business. As with any election, your voice is vitally important. The future and the success of KRCC rest in hands of the membership.

Your membership provides you with an enormous value through monthly networking events, educational speakers, sponsorship opportunities and many other activities and events. The Kentuckiana Rainbow Chamber of Commerce operates in the same fashion as most other Chamber of Commerce organizations, providing more than ample opportunities to help grow your business and connecting you with other members. The focus is quite apparent. GLBT businesses and business people who are supportive or identify as GLBT.

As the Kentuckiana Rainbow Chamber of Commerce continues to grow, it is essential that the members be aware that the single most powerful and most important outreach tool that we have is us. Current members reaching out to prospective members could be the fastest and most efficient way for our Chamber to grow.
