How the SBA/SCORE Can Help Your Business Succeed!

Our September speaker will be Donald R. Keller, Chapter Chairman of SCORE-75

SCORE is the national volunteer arm of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Its mission is to support, counsel, and mentor new start-ups and existing businesses. There are over 13,000 volunteers nationally. The Louisville Chapter has 95 volunteers in 57 different industries. SCORE does not charge for its services. Wow. SCORE and the SBA have a ton of free services for start-up and existing businesses. KRCC is partnering with SCORE in our lineup of seminars for 2010. Watch for announcements.

Even though the presenter himself was not the best of speakers, his material was very helpful. I can not only see SCORE being able to help our individual businesses but I can see them as being able to help our entire organization grow. I think that they can offer us some community organizational skills and direction.
